The East-South Beer Tour will have you visiting Brewery Vivant, Brass Ring Brewing Co. & Arvon Brewing Co. This tour will have some Belgian, English & New England beer influences!
Brewery Vivant is the 2nd largest brewery in Grand Rapids. They create a variety of beers, including some Belgian influenced ales. The beautiful taproom is housed in an old chapel, the brewery is housed in a livery stable that was built in 1915. Brewery Vivant is unique in every aspect!
Brass Ring Brewing Co.'s beer is made from only four natural ingredients: water, malted barley, hops and yeast. At Brass Ring strives for style-specific perfection offering Traditional Pub Ales, Porters, and Stouts. "It is with great pride that we serve you our small-batch craft brews." They also have REALLY tasty pub food!
Arvon Brewing Co. strives to create unique, Michigan craft beer that beer enthusiasts can be proud to drink! Focusing on flavor forward style of New England style IPAs, heavily fruited sours and bold stouts. Each week Arvon releases 4-5 fresh batches of beer to ensure craft beer enthusiasts are getting the best quality experience, whether that's on tap in the Grand Rapids taproom or canned and released online each Thursday morning.

On this tour you will be sampling some of the finest beers in Beer
City and find out about the intriguing history of Grand Rapids beer culture on the historic west side. This tour will have you visiting Broadleaf Brewery, Kusterer Brauhaus and Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales/North Peak Brewery.
Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales & North Peak Brewing Co. Jolly Pumpkin is one of the most well-known wild/sour ale producers in the country! They make some of the most unique & tastiest sours around! If sours are not your thing (or at least you think they aren't) you will have the opportunity to order non-sour ales from North Peak
Brewing Co. at this stop as well. North Peak has IPA's, ambers, lagers, browns,
stouts & wheats! North Peak originally opened in Traverse City, Jolly Pumpkin in Dexter Michigan, now you won't have to journey to these locations, they're
right in the heart or Grand Rapids! At this stop you get to pick 1 pint & 1 sample.
Broad Leaf Brewery has a new taproom located on Bridge St., they have an awesome beer garden!. "We aim to produce exciting and unique beers of all sorts with a focus on new styles, process, and ingredients. Broad Leaf is a cousin brewery to Brewery Vivant and the same motivations and guidelines that inform Vivant arel also be practiced at Broad Leaf. Sustainable, Locally Sourced, Ethical, and Kind."
Cedar Springs Brewing Co's new taproom, Kusterer Brauhaus is housed in a Munich-style taproom on the historic West Side of Grand Rapids where several German and breweries existed prior to Prohibition. This stop can not be missed by any fans of Hefeweizens, Pilsners, Bocks, Marzens & Rauchbiers. They also brew amazing American influenced beers!

The Mitten Brewing Co. is located inside an old engine house. One of Grand Rapids most well-known breweries, The Mitten serves up some excellent crafty beers. Country Strong IPA and Triple Crown Brown are well known among the locals and beyond.
Creston Brewery is a chill local brewery in the heart of the
Creston neighborhood. They produce lagers and ales, and sometimes make unique
beers such as smoked and tea infused ales. They use a lot a locally
sourced ingredients such as hops, honey, coffee and fruit.

B.O.B.’s Brewery is the longest running brewery in the city. At this stop we’ll go behind-the-scenes for a brewery tour, typically with John Svoboda, one of the most knowledgeable brewers in West Michigan.

New Holland now has an expansive new location in Grand Rapids called the Knickerbocker! Originally opened in Holland, MI in 1996, New Holland Brewing Company is one of the oldest operating brewing companies in the west Michigan area. They have been gaining recognition with beers like Mad Hatter (IPA), The Poet (Oatmeal Stout) and Tangerine Space Machine (Citrusy IPA). These are some standards of New Holland Brewing Company for good reason. Beers such as Dragon's Milk (a bourbon barrel stout) has been gaining a large following as well.

Atwater Brewery was founded in March of 1997 with the purpose of carrying on the rich history of breweries in Detroit. Their brewing process, however, is over 200 years old. As Atwater Brewery expanded, it only made sense that they came to Beer City USA. They’ve set camp in Grand Rapids’ historic Rowe building to serve up a continually revolving tap list (including several beers made in Grand Rapids).
