River City Beer Tour will have you visiting The Mitten Brewing Co., City Built Brewing Co., and Our Brewing Co. A couple of these breweries sit near the river that gave the city its nickname, River City.
One of Grand Rapids’ most well-known breweries, The Mitten serves up excellent craft beers; Country Strong IPA and Triple Crown Brown are favorites among locals and visitors alike.
City Built Brewing Co. stands out in Grand Rapids with a wide array of beer styles and flavorful Puerto Rican food & tacos! Beers with a strong following there include Alemania (a crisp Mexican lager) and any of their outstanding NE IPAs or bright, fruity sours.
Our Brewing Company serves up tasty, house-crafted, experimental brews. It's smaller on purpose, to focus only on beer and the people who drink it. Favorites from the ever-rotating taps include the Careless Whisper IPA, the Andes Mint Milk Stout and Ginger Honey EPA. Bring your mustache (or a mustachioed spirit) to Our Brewing Company, where you'll find friends on every stool.
The tour includes 12 generous beer samples, a behind-the-scenes brewery tour, and transportation to and from the stops with a knowledgeable beer tour guide.
This tour is on Saturday, December 12 — 12:00–3:30 PM.
There will be an opportunity to have lunch at City Built Brewing Co., the second stop.
